At E17 BJJ, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive training environment for everyone who trains with us.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a close contact sport built on trust. That trust must never be abused. Safeguarding is not an afterthought. It is a core part of how we operate as a gym and a community.
We take all concerns seriously and have clear procedures in place to support anyone who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour.

Our Standards
Everyone at E17 BJJ is expected to:

Engage in physical contact only as required for training

Respect boundaries, consent, and tap outs

Communicate clearly and appropriately

Help maintain a positive, inclusive gym culture
We have zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, discrimination, or misuse of power.

You can raise a concern in any of the following ways:

Speak privately to the Safeguarding Lead

Bring a trusted person with you

Submit a written account if preferred
All concerns are handled sensitively and confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern will not be tolerated.
