The Armbar Funnel - E17 BJJ Weekly Newsletter
Hi everyone, hope you've all had a great weekend!
A big thank you to everyone who came down for Ryan's Crucifix Seminar over the weekend. It was a great session and Ryan did an awesome job breaking down his system and showing just how much you can do from the crucifix. Be careful of the people trying to now strangle you with their belts...

Lumo App Reminder
A quick reminder that Lumo is now where you'll find everything we're working on in class.
The coaches are adding the techniques and topics for each session directly into the app, along with descriptions, so you can see what you'll be learning before you train and keep track of what you've been working on.
If you haven't set up your account yet, you'll be receiving a helpful email in the coming days with everything you need to get started. If you're having trouble getting it set up, don't worry. Contact us by email or message Mouncif or Richard on WhatsApp and we'll help you get sorted.
Once you're set up, please make sure you're using Lumo to book into your classes and check in when you arrive.

Tip of the Week
Leave Your Ego at the Door
Jiu Jitsu is a lot easier to enjoy when you stop worrying about how you're supposed to look.
You're going to get submitted. You're going to get swept. You're going to get stuck underneath someone and have absolutely no idea what to do. That's normal.
The person who can recognise that they're struggling, ask questions, try something new and come back next session is going to improve much faster than the person who's afraid to make mistakes.
You don't need to prove you're good at Jiu Jitsu every time you train. You're here to get better at it.
See you on the mats!
